MANUFACTURERS CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance: To prevent build up of dirt and contaminates, which may cause permanent staining, periodic cleaning is highly suggested. The frequency of cleaning is dependent upon the environmental conditions the material is subjected to.
Normal Cleaning: Most stains can be easily cleaned using warm, soapy water and clear water rinses. Moderate scrubbing with a medium bristle brush will help loosen soiling materials from the depressions of embossed surfaces.
Stubborn Stains: Use Formula 409® commercially available cleaner in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Full strength rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits* may be tried cautiously as a last resort on very stubborn stain, if the above suggestions do not work. Indiscriminate use of any solvent, or solvent containing cleaner, can severely damage or discolor vinyl. Always follow with a clear water rinse after cleaning with solvents.
***Note: Detergents should never be used on a regular or repeated basis for normal cleaning. MORBERN RECOMMENDS REPEATED RINSING WITH CLEAR WATER AFTER ANY CLEANING PROCEDURE.
***When opening a new container, please test the cleaner in an inconspicuous area as cleaning manufacturers may change formula without notice. MORBERN cannot be responsible when unknown changes are made by the manufacturer of the cleaner to their formulations.
***Caution: Exercise care as these solvents are flammable. Use only small quantities of solvents and keep clear of any sources of ignition. Wear protective gloves and ensure cleaning takes place in a well ventilated area.

What are the characteristics of foam?
Weight-true HR quality foams are known in the industry as a 2.5 lb foam with a firmness that measures between 11 to 70 ILD. Everlon is generally known as a 1.5 to 1.8 lb. foam with a ILD range between 18 to 55.
Firmness-(ILD)Indentation Load Deflection is the measurement used to describe foam firmness. That means, the lower the number, the softer the foam whereas the higher the number, the firmer the foam which applies to all the foams we currently stock.
How long do foams to last?
HR(High Reslience) quality foams generally tend to last longer than Everlon foams due to foam cell structure and weight. Under normal use conditions HR foams tend to last anywhere form 10-20 twenty years. Everlon(Nimbus) foams under normal condition usage tend to last anywhere between 4-8 years.
How thick do I want my foam need to be?
A few examples would be sofa seat cushions are generally between 4" to 6" thick, dining chair pad seating is usually 1" to 3" and boat cushion seating is usually 3" to 6". Foam type and thickness all depends on your comfort preference and your budget.
